Raised in Finland, Mel studied film production in Helsinki where she worked extensively as a producer in both narrative and documentary film. After relocating from Finland to Maine to attend the Maine Media Workshops she met her co-founder, Wes Sterrs. Together they have created Media Loma, an Emmy® Award nominated media production and video marketing agency based in New England.
